MISSION

 

The Gathering Church exists to GATHER people from all walks of life in Christ, to help them GROW like Christ and teach them to GIVE their whole lives to Christ so that they will GO and share the Good News for Christ!
1 Peter 2:5, 9….you yourselves like living stones are being build up as a spiritual house (WE GATHER), to be a holy priesthood (WE GROW), to offer up spiritual sacrifices (WE GIVE) acceptable to God through Jesus Christ…. 9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light (WE GO).
 
 

Our plan to make disciples (Matt. 28:18-20) is where the rubber of our vision meets the road of practical ministry.

VISION
 
Proverbs 29:18 (KJV) says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Vision is imperative to finding and sustaining direction. The vision of The Gathering Church was born out of extensive time in prayer and reflection, and it captures the purpose for which The Gathering exists...
